Sandcastle Revivalist to Speak at Chamber Networking Breakfast

Julia Simms, a 30-year veteran of marketing and public relations, will address marketing a small business on a shoe stringΒ budget.

At one time, Simms' companies led marketing efforts for the U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition and the City of Imperial Beach.

Over the course of the past year, Simms may be best known locally for efforts to bring a sandcastle competition back to IB after the U.S. Open Sandcastle Committee disbanded in 2011.
