Beekeeping 101, Yappy Hour and Sunset Mini-Concert

1. Bring your four-legged friend to Yappy hour by IB Pet 5 p.m. Friday at Jersey Boys Diner on Seacoast Drive. Yappy Hour is held the first and third Friday of the month.

2. Across the street from Yappy Hour, Teagan Taylor Trio, whose latest album "Hello" was nominated for a San Diego Music Award earlier this week, will perform a free concert 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Farmers Market. 

3. The Chula Vista Nature Discovery Center will host the "From Farm to Bay Food and Wine Classic" 5-9 p.m. Saturday.

4. Wild Willow Farm and Education Center will hold a Beekeeping 101 class 9 a.m. to noon Saturday to teach people how to cultivate their own bee colony. The class Saturday is part of a four-part series of classes. 

5. A bird walk tour will take place in the estuary with a Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve bird docent. Meet at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center at 3 p.m. Sunday.
