Delicious Charity: Eat Out and Support Youth Sports This Weekend
Mar Vista High School football, South San Diego-Imperial Beach Chiefs football and cheer and the San Diego Boltz are asking members of the community to join them this weekend for a meal to help raise funds for upcoming seasons.

Starting Thursday, Imperial Beachians can eat out and support local youth baseball, football and cheer teams.
San Diego Boltz, a travel baseball team, invites people to eat at Marco's Italian Restaurant Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. 20 percent of proceeds will go to the Boltz' 8U team for players 8-years-old and under.

Further down Palm Avenue, on Saturday Mar Vista High School football invite people to dine at The Scoreboard from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. 20 percent of proceeds will go to the school's football program.
"It is a pretty generous offer from a local business helping out the local high school," Head Coach Tyler Arciaga said.

The South San Diego-Imperial Beach Chiefs football and cheer teams will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Fleet Reserve Association Branch 289 on Silver Strand Boulevard. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. Cupcakes, cookies and other goodies for $1.
