A referee stepped in to stop Emmanuel "Renegade" Robles from battering a defenseless Joshua "Superman" Marks of El Centro in the fourth round of a match Friday, according to James Wyatt of Examiner.com.

The fight was hard fought and close until the fourth round knock out, Wyatt said.

"He was comin wit it! But he forgot I was comin for it!" Robles posted on his Facebook profile Saturday.

The Robles vs. Marks match was one of several fights promoted by Bobby D. Presents at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego Friday.

Robles, formerly of Imperial Beach, now lives in San Diego. The win gives him a 9-0-1 record.
