Candidates for California's 40th State Senate seat will participate in a forum at Southwestern College.
The four candidates running for the Senate seat in the March 12th special election are Paul Hector Gastelum (R), Xanthi Gionis (R ), Ben Hueso (D) and Anna Nevenic (D).
The forum will take place at Southwestern College Student Union East.

Political Science Professor Phil Saenz will moderate the forum, the focus of the forum will include educational policies, such as funding, tuition, and book cost.
The forum will also range in topics, such as budget priorities, business and economic development in the region, and immigration policies.
