A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Freda Adams who passed away April 3.
She was 94 and may be best known for compiling Imperial Beach's first history book.

The memorial service will be held at Church of Christ on 10th Street followed by a reception at the Fleet Reserve Association on Silver Strand Boulevard.
