Naval Base San Diego Holiday Lights Open House Friday

Drive along a route and see decorated ships and attend a holiday celebration at Naval Base San Diego.


Ship tours are also available.


Enter base at 32nd Street or Harbor Drive gates.

Open to the public, but only certain items are permitted on the base.


The following items are prohibited inside the venue and subject to confiscation:
β€’ Weapons (regardless of permit) including firearms, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools), replica or toy weapons, pepper spray or stun guns
β€’ Alcoholic beverages, unless purchased from approved vendors
β€’ Ice chests or coolers
β€’ Pets, other than service animals
β€’ Glass containers
β€’ Bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, (kick and electric) scooters or skateboards
β€’ Backpacks/Bags larger than 8 1/2 x 11 inches (standard backpacks)

Permitted Items:
β€’ PCS/cellular phones, pagers and FRS transceivers
β€’ Fanny packs and purses, or bags 8 1/2 x 11 inches or smaller
β€’ Cameras and camcorders
β€’ Hand held umbrellas

Drivers must have a valid driver's license and insurance to enter base.


Please note that if you plan to tour one of the ships, you should be able to easily climb stairs and be in good physical health.
