Firefighters Battle Chula Vista-Area Brush Fire

CHULA VISTA, CA - Firefighters were extinguishing a small brush fire Monday afternoon alongside northbound Interstate 5.

Officials from the California Highway Patrol reported that the blaze ignited just north of Main Street in Chula Vista. They were on the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m.

There were no reports of structural threats.
