It's not unusual to hear "get some" at the West Coast Cafe most mornings where friendly and sometimes passionate games of cribbage are played.
To better promote the game and attract new players, local author Jerry Mathel created ibskunked.com, a website to advertise cribbage play at the cafe which takes place most mornings from about 7-9 a.m. and Thursdays from 4-6:30 p.m.
The website includes photos of regular players and fixtures at the cafe, including former owners of the cafe, Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce president Joann Barrows and Nicholas the cat.
