Man Shot Twice in Egger Highlands-Nestor Area
The shooting appears to be gang-related, a San Diego Police Department officer said.

A 35-year-old man was shot twice in an apparent gang-related attack while walking in the Egger Highlands-Nestor area of San Diego Monday, San Diego Police Department Officer Dino Delimitros said.Β
The shooting blocks outside Imperial Beach in the 1800 block of Halo Street was reported at 1:37 a.m., Delimitros said.
The shooter was a dark-skinned man, about 5 feet 8, with slicked black hair and a mustache, Delimitros said in a statement.

The victim was shot in the arm and abdomen but neither wound was life- threatening and the man is expected to survive, he said.
