Taser Used to Apprehend Bank Robbery Suspect

The robbery at North Island Credit Union on Palm Avenue occurred around 9:45 a.m. Saturday.

A man suspected of robbing a North Island Credit Union in the 1100 block of Palm Avenue Saturday morning was later arrested with the use of a Taser in Palm City, 10News reported.

Following the robbery around 9:45 a.m. Saturday, helicopters and sheriff's deputies searched for the suspect who was later tracked to the 700 block of Picador Avenue in the Palm City neighborhood and arrested by San Diego Police Department officers.
