Chef Gino, who honed his culinary skills cooking alongside his mother and grandmother in northern Italy, moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1990s as chef of Rex Il Ristorante before opening his own restaurant, Angelini Osteria, in 2001.
In 2016, the couple launched Angelini Alimentari, as an ode to classic Italian coffee bars, that serves espresso, house-made gelato and sells the duo's line of pasta sauces. Winning numerous awards, Angelini Osteria is popular among Angelinos for its unassuming and authentic Italian cuisine.
