Crime Blotter: Thieves Swipe Electronics During Unsanctioned Party

It appears two uninvited guests may have made off with the computer and other equipment, a crime report states.

A La Cañada man reported stolen nearly $2,000 worth of electronics following a party at his house that his stepdaughter threw, according to Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station crime report.

The 51-year-old resident did not give permission for a party, which occurred on May 24 in the 5700 block of Catherwood Drive, the report states. The stepdaughter told authorities she believes two uninvited men, who kept going in and out of the house, may have been the ones to steal a subwoofer, a laptop computer, an iPod and a touchpad.

The stolen items totaled $1,925, the report states.
