Ladies of Los Altos Grant Holiday Wishes to Foster Youth
The Holiday of Wishes campaign succeeds in raising funds to make the holidays special for youth in Sycamores' programs!
Los Altos granted hundreds of wishes of the youth at Sycamores' El Nido residential campus and young adults in the Transitional Housing Program this week! Los Altos volunteers provided 218 curated gifts to El Nido residents based upon their personal wish lists and 134 housewares items and gift cards to young persons transitioning from foster care to independent living.
The mission of Los Altos is to enhance and enrich the lives of the youth, adults and families at the El Nido campus community and Sycamores. Collaborating with the remarkable Sycamores staff, they serve the youth at El Nido by providing enhancement activities and personal gifts that provide comfort and care throughout the year. They volunteer so El Nido youth can lead healthier, happier, more productive lives.
