The annual meeting was held earlier in December.

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Support Group has installed longtime La Cañada resident Len Pieroni as its news president.
Pieroni, an engineer at Worley Parsons, replaces outgoing President Leo Lesh. Lesh received a plaque for his two years of service during the group's annual meeting in the Boardroom at the CalTech Employees Credit Union. He will remain on the board as the immediate past president.Other support group officers include Bobbie Parker as VP, Steve Clement as the Treasurer and Lynda Bayly as the Secretary.
During Leo’s tenure as president, the club was able to make two significant purchases, according to Rick Dinger, president of Crescenta Valley Insurance. First, the group bought a new 4x4 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck that will be used to tow the mobile command post. The second major purchase was two dirt bikes to help patrol the Angeles National Forrest and assist the Montrose Search and Rescue Team.
