Bird Killed in Fire that Destroys Laguna Beach Home
No one was hurt in the conflagration and the blaze was knocked down within an hour.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA - A fire destroyed a single-family home in Laguna Beach on Thursday night, killing a pet bird.
No people were injured in the blaze, which was reported about 6:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Summit Drive, Sgt. Tim Kleiser of the Laguna Beach Police Department said.
The flames were knocked down by 7:24 p.m., Kleiser said.
