City Prepares For Patriots Day Parade Honoring Laguna Heritage
Several road closures will be in place due to the annual parade Saturday, city officials said.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The 58th annual Patriots Day Parade is underway in Laguna Beach this Saturday, and residents were encouraged to come and be a part of the celebration.
This year's parade pays tribute to the theme "Laguna Heritage." Attendees will enjoy school bands, civic groups, veterans, floats and vintage cars at the community event.
The route for the parade starts at Laguna Beach High School, on Park Avenue, before proceeding down Park Avenue to Glenneyre Street and turning right.

From there, the parade will proceed down Forest Avenue and turn right before heading to Laguna Beach City Hall. The parade will disperse down Ocean Avenue, the city said.
Street closures in the downtown area will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., city officials said.
