• Laguna Beach hosts inaugural Literary Festival 122325 (stunewslaguna.com) — Laguna Beach will launch its first-ever Literary Festival January 9–10, 2026, with workshops, panels, and receptions at the Laguna Art Museum and Susi Q Community Center. Funded in part by the city and local businesses, the event features a new Laguna Beach Literary Leader award and a free public reception where local writers can showcase and sell their books.

The tournament, featuring top Southern California programs, highlighted strong showings from Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar and offered an early-season benchmark for Laguna Beach as it looks ahead to CIF play.
