LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Toys for Laguna Beach Fire Department's Spark of Love toy drive are being collected through Christmas Eve and can be dropped off at several locations in Laguna Beach, the city said in a statement.

This is the 30th anniversary of the toy drive that brings joy to area children every year, the city said in a recent announcement.

"The Spark of Love Toy Drive originally began in 1993 as a partnership between KABC-7 and Firefighters from the Counties of Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernadino and Ventura," the city said in a news release. "There are many other worthwhile toy drives, however, the Spark of Love is the only one created and operated by your local Firefighters."
