Free Holiday Concerts In Laguna Beach This December

This holiday season brings a series of free concerts to fans of the Laguna Community Concert and JaZz Bands.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Did you miss out on Hospitality Night in Laguna Beach last Saturday? Have no fear, there's still a chance to rock the holidays away with free concerts in Laguna Beach.

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, residents can join the Laguna JaZz Band as it plays its holiday blend of jazz and pop standards, latin, funk and salsa at the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Center. The concert will feature vocalist Ginger Hatfield and residents will hear holiday favorites such as "Santa Baby," "Feliz Navidad" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free of charge.

On Sunday, Dec. 18, the celebration continues as the Laguna Community Concert Band performs its holiday repertoire at the Laguna Beach High School's Artist's Theatre.

The concert features favorites such as “The Hanukkah Song,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and “White Christmas,” as well as a visit from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” and a rousing sing-a-long finale. The concert starts at 2 p.m. and is free of charge.

“We just played a concert at the Laguna Playhouse to an enthusiastic crowd on November 18" said Mark Lowery, co-conductor of The Laguna Community Concert Band. "Everyone — audience and band — really enjoyed themselves. And that’s why we perform, to bring the joy of live music to Laguna Beach.”
