Free January Classes, Events At Laguna Beach Library: What To Know
Whether you're young or old, the Laguna Beach Library has a slew of events and classes scheduled this January.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Looking for a proactive way to ring in the New Year?
The Laguna Beach Library is hosting a slew of classes and events through the month of January.
On Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m., children up to 5 years old can enjoy "Music For Kids," a music class for children with caregiver involvement. Attendees will sing, dance and play child-friendly percussion instruments.

Space is limited for "Music for Kids," so residents were urged to arrive early.
Also on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., residents can take part in "Baby Toddler Storytime," where infants up to 3 years old and their caregivers will enjoy a morning of fun stories, songs and movement.

On Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., children ages 3 to 5 years old — and their caregivers — can take part in "Kindergarten Readiness Storytime." The event includes activities that foster basic math, reading and social skills to prepare your children for school.
Every other Wednesday from 4:15 to 6 p.m., kids ages 10-13 can take part in a "Tween DND" night for two hours of Dungeons and Dragons led by the library's Dungeon Masters.
The program is open to all levels of experience, and new players are always welcome.
On Jan. 10 at 2 p.m., Laguna Beach residents can take part in "Family Art Experience," where families will be guided to create a unique art piece.
On Tuesday, Jan. 13, the Laguna Beach Library will celebrate "Rubber Ducky Day." Attendees will be able to decorate ducks, play games and eat snacks starting at 4 p.m.
On Friday, Jan. 16 at 10:30 a.m., adults can take part in a "Crafty Adults: Crafting, Coffee and Cookies" art class, where attendees will create a winter diorama. No registration required.
