Laguna Art Museum Announces Community Art Project For New Look
The temporary installation will transform Laguna Art Museum's façade into a stunning canvas of community involvement, representatives said.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Art Museum is getting a temporary new look to refresh the museum's exterior while fostering community engagement.
The creative initiative, a part of the museum's Every Single One campaign, encourages donors to "purchase" squares of the building's exterior, where they can personally sign their names. Donations for these squares start at an encouraged $250 and benefit the Laguna Art Museum, museum officials said.
Painting of the façade will take place on Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27, according to the museum.

The temporary art project will be featured on the outside of the museum before the museum undergoes a complete exterior repainting project.
According to Executive Director of Laguna Art Museum Julie Perlin Lee, the project is more than just a fundraising effort — it's a call to action for the community to come together and leave a tangible mark on the museum's evolution.

"Our goal is to restore the beauty of our facility while fostering a sense of ownership and excitement among our donors and visitors," Perlin Lee told Patch. "This project not only beautifies our space but also encourages community involvement in the arts."
According to representatives, the project will be on display for three to four weeks.
