Laguna Beach School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Laguna Beach is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Laguna Beach Unified School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/10: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/1: Parent Conferences (Grades K-5)
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/15: No School (MLK Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Mid-Winter Break)

April

• 4/2 - 4/6: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/21: Last Day of School for Students and Teachers
• 6/25: Last Day of School for Counselors
