LAGUNA BEACH, CA - Memorial Day has finally arrived, promising a much-needed break, burger and trip to the beach to kick off the unofficial start of the summer. But will the weather in Laguna Beach allow for an outdoor barbecue?

Leading up to the weekend will see some gloomy weather, with partly cloudy skies Friday through Monday early in the day before giving way to the sun.

Temperatures will be in the mid to high-60s through Memorial Day weekend in Laguna Beach before jumping to 74 degrees on Tuesday, according to AccuWeather’s forecast.

While the skies will still be partly cloudy, don’t forget to pack sunscreen.

The max ultraviolet index level in the Laguna Beach area will sit at 11 Sunday and Monday, meaning a fair-skinned person could suffer sunburns within minutes if not protected.
