Shredding Party! Two Places in Laguna on Saturday to Take Your Old Docs

....

Two places in Laguna Beach are holding paper-shredding events on Saturday, May 11.

Surterre Properties invites anyone with these and other unwanted electronics and paper to drive through the Laguna Beach School District parking lot (550 Blumont, corner of Park Avenue/Blumont) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drop off landfill “no-no’s”. This is a free service with no forms to complete and guests won’t even need to get out of their car.

Surterre Properties agents and volunteers will collect the eWaste and deliver them to a recycling center. Eco-friendliness is made easier, thanks to Surterre Properties. In addition, ProShred will be at the event to take care of any of your paper shredding needs on site, and they will recycle the final shredded materials.

The other shredding event is sponsored by Waste Management and the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, and takes place from 9 a.m.-noon at the offices of Kinsman & Kinsman, 32355 S. Coast Hwy. Says a news release:

"The Chamber is pleased to invite you to come to our Shredding Day, sponsored by Waste Management.  Laguna Businesses and residents may have a "reasonable" amount of shredding done by a professional shredding company.  We will work to accommodate everyone. Watch for the green signs that will direct you to the parking lot for shredding. It's easy, it's free, and it's the law."
