Susi Q Announces 'Empowering' Array Of Women's History Month Programs

March marks the start of National Women's History Month, and the Susi Q is offering programs aimed to empower and educate.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The start of National Women's History Month is just a couple days away, and the Susi Q Center is celebrating the entire month by focusing on women's health and historical achievements through free programs for the public.

The month kicks off with a program led by artist Hedy Buzan, who will lead a presentation titled: "12 Women Who Changed America." Buzan, who has had her work featured at Festival or Arts and the Sawdust Festival, created collages that honor 12 influential women throughout history.

She will discuss trailblazing actions and how they influenced society before earning the right to vote. The presentation takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6. Residents can register here.
