Watch: March and Rally for Orange County Crime Victims

The Orange County District Attorney's office held its fifth annual Victims Rights March and Rally on Friday, which brought out several hundred to the Old Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana in remembrance of murder victims, to celebrate survivors of violent crime, and to advocate for victims' rights and stronger laws.

“We are a community of survivors, and there will always be more of us than criminals," said Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas. "We are never going to stop working to protect others from suffering, and we will continue to stand up for victims – of human trafficking, murder, sexual assault, and all the crimes that you are here speaking out against today."

Also in attendance were those who had lost friends or family due to distracted or drunk driving, and people who spoke for the victims of police brutality.
