2 Arrested For Theft In Dana Point: OCSD

DANA POINT, CA — A man and woman were arrested Thursday for stealing two Yeti coolers, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The theft was reported Thursday morning on West Marine.

"Thanks to a detailed suspect and vehicle description, and with assistance from Flock Safety cameras, deputies located the vehicle traveling southbound on the I-5 Freeway and conducted a traffic stop," deputies said.

An investigation found the man had prior theft convictions and was arrested for petty theft with priors, conspiracy to commit a crime and organized retail theft.

The woman drive was also arrested for conspiracy and organized retail theft, authorities said.

Their identities were not released.
