Earth Day 2022: Dana Point Residents Invited To 'Stand Up To Trash'
Residents can head to the Ocean Institute and Baby Beach for a clean-up and environmental education day as part of Earth Day weekend.
DANA POINT, CA — Residents looking to do their part during Earth Day weekend can head to the Ocean Institute Saturday to take part in a beach clean-up.
Environmental group Stand Up To Trash will host the beach clean-up day from 9 to 11 a.m. Residents can choose to help clean up at the Ocean Institute or Baby Beach.
Volunteers who collect the biggest, smallest and most unusual pieces of trash will be given prizes, Stand Up To Trash said.

A free educational talk about land and ocean stewardship will be held on the Ocean Insitute's wharf at 10:30 a.m. as part of the Earth Day celebration.
Stand Up To Trash said it will provide trash bags and grabbers, and volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable work gloves.
