Earth Day 2022: Niguel Botanical Preserve To Hold Clean-Up Event
Volunteers are wanted to help plant, dig, and shovel at the Niguel Botanical Preserve as part of Laguna Niguel's Earth Day celebration.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Residents looking to work their green thumb for Earth Day can help out at the Niguel Botanical Preserve this Saturday.
The preserve and the City of Laguna Niguel will hold an Earth Day celebration from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will go around the Niguel Botanical Preserve planting and digging plants, shoveling mulch and removing weeds as part of the event, Laguna Niguel officials said.
Laguna Niguel officials said volunteers should wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes, a hat and sunscreen, as well as bring a water bottle.

Check-in for the Earth Day celebration will be at the Crown Valley Park Amphitheater. Volunteers ages 13 and older can bring a signed release waiver with them when checking in but volunteers 12 and younger are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
