DANA POINT, CA — The polls are now closed in Dana Point. From Dana Point City Hall to the White House, Tuesday’s election is crucial. Voters have marked their ballots for their chosen leaders, on tax measures, and proposals that will shape California for generations to come.

Now that everyone's cast their votes, the question is: So who won? What passed or failed?

In Dana Point's city council race, as of 10:30 p.m., Mike Frost held an early lead over Gary Newkirk for District 4.
