Candyland Parade To Fill Florida Street With Sweet Treats On Dec. 3

Hemet residents are invited to the Candyland Parade that will start around sundown on Dec. 3. Here's where to see it.

HEMET, CA — Candy canes, sugar plums, gingerbread and other Christmas sweets will be featured in the Hemet Candyland Christmas Parade in early December.

The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Dec. 3, beginning at the intersection of Florida Avenue and Gilbert Street. It will run west to east, covering roughly 1 1/2 miles, ending at Florida and Santa Fe Street.

The nighttime parade will showcase floats celebrating the festive atmosphere of the holiday.

Following the parade, festivities will continue in Weston Park, at Florida and Taylor Street, where there will be winter-themed activities, including hot cocoa, pictures with Santa Claus and other family-oriented fare.
