Wildomar City Hall Takes Christmas, New Year's Vacation Amid Winter Storm

The city of Wildomar alerted residents that the city will be closed, though departments will remain on alert during the winter storm.

WILDOMAR, CA — The city of Wildomar is closing City Hall from Wednesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) through Jan. 1, New Year's Day.

"In observance of the holiday season, Wildomar City Hall will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, through Thursday, January 1. Normal business hours will resume on Friday, January 2.We wish our residents a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for being part of our wonderful community! "

Still, the city will monitor the winter storm watch in coordination with the Riverside County Emergency Management Department, they said.

"Murrieta Creek and Temecula Creek are expected to remain within normal natural water flow conditions during this storm activity, and no creek flooding is anticipated," a city spokesperson said. "However, residents should remain alert as weather conditions may change."

• Stay away from creeks, washes, and burn scar areas during heavy rain
• Secure outdoor items and prepare for strong winds
• Check on neighbors, especially seniors and those with limited mobility
