Fire Damages Bedroom, Attic At Home In Riverside
The fire wrought $200,000 worth of damage to the structure.
RIVERSIDE, CA — Firefighters knocked down a bedroom fire that extended into the attic space of a home in Riverside, authorities said Saturday.
Firefighters dispatched at 9:07 p.m. Friday to the 1600 block of Mathews Street had the fire under control at 9:20 p.m., the Riverside Fire Department reported.
"The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical after investigation," said Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Bruce Vanderhorst.

No injuries were reported and the home was left not habitable. The fire wrought $200,000 worth of damage to the structure.
