Firefighters Put Out Kitchen Fire in Menifee

MENIFEE, CA — A kitchen fire broke out in a multi-family residential structure in Menifee Sunday, but no injuries were reported.

The fire was reported at 9:15 a.m. in the 26000 block of Cherry Hills Boulevard, according Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters said the flames spread from food cooking on a stove in one of the six units in the single-story structure.

Fire crews managed to quickly extinguish the blaze.
