Firefighters Snuff Out Perris House Fire

PERRIS, CA — Firefighters managed to douse a small fire in a Perris home Sunday before it could spread to the whole residence. The fire was reported at around noon in the 1000 block of Florey Street, just off of North Perris Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

First-arriving firefighters saw light smoke coming from the single- story home and when they made their way in found a fire burning in a bathroom and a portion of the attic, the department said.

The flames were contained to those areas and no injuries were reported.
