Five People Injured In Mead Valley Crash

MEAD VALLEY, CA — Five people were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Mead Valley.

The collision was reported at 12:49 p.m. at Harvill Avenue and Rider Street, just off Interstate 215, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

All five people injured, two with serious injuries and three with minor injuries, were taken to a hospital via ground ambulance, fire officials said.

The California Highway Patrol said two people were trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut out by fire crews.

Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available.
