Heat Wave Returns To Bake RivCo Cities: Temps Up To 100 Degrees

Triple-digit temperatures are expected for some cities while others will top out in the 90s by Friday.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Heat will continue to bake Riverside County this week with some areas close to triple-digit temperatures and others in the mid- 90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday will be the coolest day in the county with temperatures ranging from 80 degrees in Temecula to 97 degrees in Coachella.

Downtown Riverside will enjoy 85-degree weather before hitting the 90s on Monday and throughout the week, forecasters said.

Coachella Valley and Palm Springs will see temperatures reaching 100 Tuesday through Thursday.

Temperatures in Hemet will be in the 90s all week long. Temecula will have the coolest temperatures in the area, staying in the 80s for most of the week until Friday, when the high is expected to reach 90 degrees.
