Hiker Rescued From Trail Near Lake Elsinore
A hiker suffering from a lower extremity injury was airlifted from a trail west of Lake Elsinore Sunday.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A hiker suffering from a lower extremity injury was airlifted from a trail west of Lake Elsinore Sunday.
The injury was reported at 10:23 a.m. on Sitton Peak Truck Trail in the Cleveland National Forest, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The hiker was rescued by a helicopter crew from the Orange County Fire Authority and taken to awaiting paramedics on the ground, fire officials said.
