Inland Empire-Based Stater Bros. Introduces New President
George Frahm, who has worked for the company since 1973, will lead the company as president.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA -- Inland Empire-based Stater Bros. Markets on Wednesday announced a new president. George Frahm, who has worked for the company since 1973, will assume the post beginning Jan. 15, reporting to CEO Pete Van Helden.
Frahm has served the company in various positions starting as a janitor and making his way to managerial positions, the company said in a press release. In 1995, Frahm was promoted to the position of director labor relations.
“George is a remarkable leader who embodies the spirit of the Stater Bros. family,” Van Helden said. “George’s extensive contributions to the company’s success have been invaluable, and his promotion to president reflects his broad knowledge of the food industry, commitment to honoring Stater Bros. unique corporate culture and continued contributions to Stater Bros. success."

Frahm holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University Los Angeles, and he is also a graduate of the University of Southern California Food Industry Executive Program. He is a past chairman of the board of directors for the California Grocers Association, and has served as a trustee on the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation.
