Lake Elsinore Man Arrested In Fentanyl, Stolen Guns Bust
The 25-year-old man is facing several felony charges.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 25-year-old Lake Elsinore man was arrested earlier this week and accused of possessing fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and stolen firearms, authorities said.
Christian Zaragoza was approached by police while sitting in a parked vehicle on Tuesday at 6:15 p. in the 31600 block of Railroad Canyon, Canyon Lake, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies had arrived on the scene after receiving reports of a suspicious person, officials said.

While talking with Zaragoza, deputies spotted narcotics paraphernalia and what they believed to be fentanyl inside the vehicle. During the search, deputies also said they found two guns that were reported stolen from the Lake Matthews area.
Zaragoza was taken to the Cois Byrd Detention Center and now faces numerous felony charges related to firearms and narcotics, the department said.
