Man Found Dead On Magnolia Avenue Identified By Coroner

HOME GARDENS, CA — A pedestrian killed over the long Thanksgiving weekend when he was apparently struck by a vehicle near the Home Gardens area of Riverside has been identified by the coroner.

The body of Melesio Gomes, 37, was found on Magnolia Avenue, west of Davidson Street, at 10:22 p.m. Friday, the coroner reported.

There was no word on when he was hit or who may have hit him.
