Man Found Dead Near Railroad Tracks in Riverside ID'd

RIVERSIDE, CA — A man found dead in the Magnolia Center neighborhood of Riverside was a resident of that city, authorities said Sunday.

Ian Jennings was 33 years old, the Riverside County coroner's office said.

His body was discovered at about 3:40 a.m. lying next to railroad tracks near the 3600 block of Merrill Avenue north of the Riverside Plaza, Riverside city police said.

It was unclear how he died, though police said they were investigating the death as a possible suicide.
