LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The City of Lake Elsinore’s Economic Development Department is spotlighting local business “Pins N’ Pockets” in December as part of a Building Better Businesses (B3) program, according to a recent news release.

Pins N' Pockets first opened its doors in 2006, and has served the city both as a family fun center, and a supporter of the community..

"This vibrant family-friendly entertainment center offers over 25 bowling lanes, an array of arcade games, a two-level laser tag arena, themed escape rooms which they are adding to, karaoke nights, and a sports bar serving American comfort food. Additionally, it provides private party rooms for various special events, making it a popular spot for families, friends, and community gatherings," a city spokesperson said.

"Pins N’ Pockets has been recognized as the two-time Large Business of the Year, a Top 3 Family Recreation Center for all Riverside County per the Press-Enterprise, and also for its various sponsorships, including being a Premier member of the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce and Host to a variety of events, including eight State of City addresses, Chamber Installation Dinners, Chamber Salute to the Electeds and numerous business ribbon cuttings and donations, including toy, food and clothing drives, and supporting the Lake Elsinore community’s families and sports teams with free play entertainment events, including for those with special needs and have opened its doors in times of crisis, such as for the Holy Fire in
2018.

"During the December 10th City Council meeting, Mayor Steve Manos noted that he is proud to have held his State of the City address multiple times at Pins N’ Pockets and thanked them for coming to the Lake Elsinore community," according to a city spokesperson.

The new “Businesses in Action Spotlight” program is a free business recognition initiative
designed to showcase and celebrate the diverse range of local businesses in Lake Elsinore,
and their significant contributions to the community and region.

The Businesses in Action Spotlight program will feature one local business each month that
exemplifies excellence and commitment to enhancing the Lake Elsinore community. Each
selected business will be honored for its efforts to go above and beyond the call of business every day.

The selection process for the spotlight involves a monthly review by a committee, with
nominations submitted by both businesses and community members. Chosen businesses
receive several forms of recognition, including:

  • A brief presentation during a City Council meeting.
  • Highlighting on the City's Economic Development website (www.DreamLE.org)
  • A 30-second professional video production created by the Economic Development Department and the business selected to be featured on the city’s website and social media platforms and provided to the business for their promotional use.

This initiative is part of the Economic Development Department’s B3 program (Building Better Businesses), which is in partnership with the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce. The Businesses in Action

Spotlight Program highlights Lake Elsinore’s business community's vibrancy and diversity, fosters local pride and encourages business growth.
