RivCo Man Who Assaulted 2 Girls In Lake Elsinore Sentenced
The 21-year-old was accused of harboring and sexually assaulting one runaway teenager in 2023 before another came forward last year.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 21-year-old man who admitted to sexually assaulting two teenage girls in Lake Elsinore was sentenced to four years in state prison on Wednesday.
Emilio Esteban Ronquillo, a Riverside resident, pleaded guilty to oral copulation with a person under the age of 18 and committing a felony offense while on bail under a plea agreement with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. In exchange for admitting the crimes in November, the DA's office agreed to drop two related charges.
Ronquillo was arrested on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, by Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station deputies. He was booked at the time on suspicion of multiple felony sexual assault charges with a minor and committing a felony while out on bail, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

A warrant for his arrest was issued after a teen came forward in January of 2024 and said Ronquillo had sexually assaulted her.
Months before, a separate investigation began in December of 2023 when Lake Elsinore deputies received reports of a runaway juvenile.

Ronquillo, 20 at the time, was accused of harboring the minor for two days before taking the teen home.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of oral copulation with a child under 18 and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He pleaded not guilty to all charges in 2023.
