Two Outbuildings Damaged By Fire in Perris

The blaze broke out early Tuesday morning.

PERRIS, CA — Firefighters extinguished a blaze in two outbuildings behind a home in Perris in just under an hour Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Crews responded about 12:40 a.m. to the 1700 block of Amethyst Drive and the first truck company on scene reported a mobile home well involved in fire, according to a statement from the Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to two outbuildings in the backyard with minor damage to the primary residence, the statement said. A knockdown was declared at 1:31 a.m.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
