Wildomar Victim In Las Vegas Shooting To Get Free Medical Help: Report

WILDOMAR, CA -- Chelsea Romo, a Las Vegas shooting victim from Wildomar, who lost one eye in the shooting, will get free medical help.
Romo, 28, was one of hundreds of people wounded during the Route 91 Country Music Festival when Stephen Paddock shot at the audience on Oct. 1. The shooting left 58 people dead, making it the deadliest mass shooting in modern history in the U.S.
Romo suffered multiple gunshot wounds and lost one eye. Her other eye was also seriously damaged, according to a Press-Enterprise report.

The free help will be provided by Southern California-based Acuity Eye Group, which plans to repair the lens in her eye, according to the newspaper.
The Wildomar resident is the mother of two young children who was described to have a "long road to recovery," according to a GoFundMe Page created by her cousin. That fundraising site has raised more than $113,000 to date.
