Husband Arrested After Woman Found Dead East Of Lake Elsinore
A homicide investigation is underway.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — An arrest was announced Monday after a 56-year-old woman was found shot to death over the weekend in an unincorporated area east of Lake Elsinore.
The victim, identified by the coroner as Kimberly Dunlap of Perris, was found by deputies at approximately 10:04 p.m. Saturday in the 21000 block of Highway 74 in the Good Hope community, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Details about exactly where she was found were not provided.

Despite efforts to save Dunlap, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.

Sunday morning, Dunlap's husband, 58-year-old William Thomas Dunlap, was arrested in the case. A possible motive in the slaying was not released.
Jail records show Dunlap was booked into Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of murder and was being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He has no documented criminal history in Riverside County, court records show.
