Bicyclist Critically Injured In 15-Foot Embankment Fall: OCFA

A bicyclist was found critically injured in the Aliso Creek channel Wednesday evening, the Orange County Fire Authority said.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A bicyclist was found critically injured after falling 15 feet down an embankment in the Aliso Creek Channel, authorities said.

The incident was reported late Wednesday afternoon when OCFA fire crews were called to the Aliso Creek Channel in Lake Forest.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a bicyclist suffering from critical injuries. To rescue the injured person, firefighters used a rope system to safely remove the patient from the channel before taking them to a local trauma center.
