The Habit Burger Grill To Change Its Name

IRVINE, CA — The Habit Burger Grill is dropping its "the" and adding an ampersand, multiple outlets reported.

The Irvine-based fast-casual chain will now be known as Habit Burger & Grill.

"This isn’t a rebrand. We’re not changing anything about who we are. But we wanted to better communicate the variety that we have on our menu and the fact that we’re about more than just incredible burgers," Global Chief Market Officer Jack Hinchliffe told The Orange County Register.

According to a news release, the company said the change better illustrates that Habit offers menu variety beyond burgers, including hand-spun milkshakes, tempura green beans, salads and sandwiches.
